Just wanted to update everyone…
First, thanks to everyone who has left a comment or sent an email. I do very much appreciate it.
My father-in-law had a massive stroke last week. He is in ICU in CA. My husband has flown out there to be with him, his mother, and his sister. We’d appreciate your prayers.
Above you see some practice strokes I did for my acrylics class. The class is going well, I am certainly learning alot about color, properties of acrylic paint and approaches to handling both. Linda Blondheim takes her teaching very seriously – she gives lots of homework (which I think is excellent!) and always responds to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
And for my sketchercise friends, I am getting in lots of exercise – I don’t sleep as well without the hubby, so I am working hard each day to exhaust the body before I turn in – but it’s been indoors exercise as the weather is so ghastly. When the class is done, I should have more time for sketching related to the exercise!
